Push & Ease Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 6, 2026 Last updated: November 6, 2026
Push & Ease (the "App") is operated by Guangdong Genyi Technology Co., Ltd. (广东亘壹科技有限公司) ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the App uses, why, and what choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and in plain English.
Push & Ease provides lifestyle guidance only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you have health concerns, please talk to a doctor.
First launch
When you open Push & Ease for the first time, a pop-up asks you to read our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. Nothing is pre-selected: you start using the App only after you tap "Agree". Before that, the App does not ask for microphone, Apple Health, notification or alarm permission.
If you tap "Disagree", the App explains once more. If you still don't agree, you can keep using Basic Alarm mode: the basic alarm and the free bedtime sounds built into the App. In that mode we don't collect your personal information, we don't keep a history of what you play, there is no paywall, and the App doesn't ask for microphone or Apple Health access. The App won't close, and it won't ask you again each time you open it. To turn on sleep recording later, tap "Turn On Sleep Recording" on the home screen, or go to Settings > Privacy & Terms.
1. The short version
The App has no account system, no servers of our own and no cloud sync.
Sleep-recording data is stored only on your phone. We do not receive it.
Sound is analyzed on your phone in real time. It's never saved as a recording or uploaded.
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for advertising. The App has no ads.
You can delete all your data at any time in the App, or by deleting the App.
2. Who is responsible (controller)
Company: Guangdong Genyi Technology Co., Ltd. / 广东亘壹科技有限公司
Registered address: Room F157, 4/F, No. 190 Xianlie East Road, Tianhe District, Guangzhou, Guangdong 510599, China
Website: everoneai.cn
Contact: dev@everoneai.cn
EU/UK representative: Not currently appointed (the App has no backend servers and stores sleep-recording data solely on your device; for any inquiries, contact dev@everoneai.cn)
Because the App stores your data on your own device and we have no backend, in practice you control that data. We act as the controller only for the limited information described in this policy.
3. What information the App uses, and how
3.1 Sound (microphone)
The microphone is used only after you choose to start sleep recording. You will see a separate consent screen before the App asks for microphone permission. You can decline.
Sound is analyzed on your phone in real time. It's never saved as a recording or uploaded.
The App keeps only sound-event features and timestamps for these event types: movement or turning over, snoring sounds, background noise, and sleep talking. We do not keep the audio of any of these events, and we do not interpret them as a health finding.
3.1a If you decline the microphone
The App can't record your sleep with the microphone. You can still use the basic alarm. If Apple Health enhancement is on, the App can still give a score from your sleep data in Apple Health. Manual bedtime entry isn't offered in this version. Turn on the microphone to record sleep with it.
3.2 Information stored on your phone
The App stores the following on your device only:
Sound-event summaries and timestamps (see 3.1)
Your daily Push-Ease Index, suggestions and trends
Your morning self-rating
Your answers to routine questions: wake-up time, weekday or weekend, and the type of day tomorrow
3.3 Apple Health (optional)
If you turn on Apple Health enhancement, a paid and optional feature available from the first version, the App asks for permission to read your Apple Health sleep analysis, heart rate variability (HRV) and resting heart rate. You will see a separate consent screen first. You can decline, and you can still use the rest of the App.
The App only reads this data. It does not write anything back to Apple Health.
This data is used only on your phone. It is not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
It is not used for advertising, marketing or data brokerage, and it is not stored in iCloud by the App.
Apple Health may have its own iCloud settings. Those are managed by you and Apple, not by us.
3.4 Subscriptions
Push & Ease Plus is an auto-renewing subscription handled by Apple. Payment is processed by Apple. We never receive your card or bank details. The App reads your subscription status and renewal date from Apple's StoreKit on your device, so it can unlock paid features and schedule reminders. This information is not sent to us. You can restore purchases in the App and manage your subscription via "Manage Subscriptions".
The subscription notes shown in the App say:
With free-trial eligibility: "The annual plan includes a 14-day free trial, then renews at the annual price displayed on the in-app purchase screen and your Apple receipt at the time of purchase until you cancel. If notifications are on, we'll remind you 2 days before the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. To cancel, go to Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Monthly is the monthly price displayed on the in-app purchase screen and your Apple receipt at the time of purchase, renews automatically, no trial."

Already subscribed: "You're subscribed to Push & Ease Plus. Tap Manage Subscriptions to view or cancel."
Prices are shown using the price Apple provides for your region.
3.5 Notifications and alarms
The App uses local notifications that are scheduled on your phone. These are not remote push notifications, and no notification server is involved. They cover a backup alarm, a reminder 2 days before a free trial ends (if notifications are on), a reminder 5 days before each automatic renewal for users in Mainland China (see the Chinese Terms), and a low-battery reminder. On iOS 26 and later the App may also ask for alarm permission (AlarmKit). Alarm and notification behavior depends on your phone's settings, such as Silent Mode and Focus, so please do not rely on the App as your only alarm. You can turn notifications and alarm permission off in iOS Settings at any time.
3.6 Analytics and crash reports
The first version of the App includes no analytics and no crash-reporting tool. If we ever add one, we will update this policy and ask for your consent in the App first. If you choose to share analytics or crash data with app developers in iOS Settings, that data is collected by Apple under Apple's terms, and Apple may provide us with aggregated reports.
4. Third-party SDKs and services
| Component | Purpose | Data involved | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple StoreKit / App Store | Subscription purchase, restore, management | Handled by Apple. We receive subscription status only | In use |
| Apple HealthKit | Optional read of sleep analysis, HRV, resting heart rate | Stays on your phone | Optional. In the first version |
| Apple notifications / AlarmKit | Local notifications and alarms | Stay on your phone | In use |
| Analytics / crash-reporting SDK | None in the first version | — | Not used |
| Other third-party SDKs | None | — | As of 2026-11-05, an internal code check found no third-party SDKs and no network-request code in the pre-release build. |
Apple processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your information and do not share it with third parties for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Why we use information, and our legal bases (EEA/UK)
| Purpose | Information | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Sleep recording: analyze sound events on your phone and show your results | Sound (in real time only), sound-event features and timestamps | Your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) and Art. 6(1)(a)), where this is treated as special-category data. |
| Apple Health enhancement (optional) | Sleep analysis, HRV, resting heart rate (read only, on device) | Your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) and Art. 6(1)(a)) |
| Show your Push-Ease Index, suggestions, trends. Remember your routine answers | On-device data in 3.2 | Performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)) and, where applicable, your consent |
| Provide paid features | Subscription status from Apple | Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) |
| Local notifications and alarms | Your settings and times | Performance of the service you asked for. Your permission in iOS |
| Respond to your emails and handle legal obligations | Your email address and message | Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligation |
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling for ads, or automated decisions with legal effects.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information, and we do not "share" it as those terms are defined under California law. Because our servers hold no sleep-recording data, we have nothing to share. We may disclose information only to:
Apple, as needed for purchases, subscription management and system features you use.
Service providers if we add them (see section 4). We will update this policy first.
Authorities or advisers, if required by law or to protect our legal rights, limited to what we hold, such as your support emails.
7. Where data is kept, retention and deletion
Where: Sleep-recording data is kept in the App's storage on your phone. The local feature-data files are marked
isExcludedFromBackup, so they are not included in iCloud or computer backups. As a result, history does not move to a new phone. How long: We keep this data on your phone until you delete it, withdraw consent (see below) or uninstall the App. We hold no copy.
Support emails: We keep emails you send us only as long as needed to answer you and meet legal obligations. Retention period: up to 2 years after your inquiry is resolved, unless a longer period is required by law.
How to delete:
In the App: Settings > "Delete all my data" (one-tap deletion of all data).
Delete the App from your phone, which removes its data.
Because there is no account, there is no account to close.
How to withdraw consent or stop:
Stop sleep recording in the App at any time. This stops microphone use.
Withdraw consent to this policy and the Terms in the App's Settings.
The App asks you to confirm once. After you confirm, it deletes the data on your phone right away: all sleep records (including sound-event features and timestamps), your Push-Ease Index and the baseline used to calculate it, and related cache and temporary files. Only your alarm and sound settings are kept. The App then switches to the basic alarm mode.
If sleep recording is running at that moment, the App stops recording first and then deletes the data.
The App only reads Apple Health data and never writes to it. Withdrawing consent does not change any data in the Health app. You can manage that data in the Health app.
Withdrawing consent does not cancel your subscription. To cancel, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
Turn off microphone, Apple Health, notification or alarm access in iOS Settings (for Apple Health, also in the Health app). Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier use that was lawful. Declining or withdrawing consent does not stop you from using paid features you bought that do not need that data.
8. International transfers
We do not run servers that receive your sleep-recording data, so the App does not transfer that data across borders. If you email us, your message goes to a mailbox operated by us in Mainland China (Tencent Exmail enterprise mail service), which may be outside your country (for example, China). For EEA/UK users, we will rely on applicable legal derogations for user-initiated communications (such as necessity to respond to your inquiry) or standard contractual safeguards where applicable for such transfers.
9. Your rights
If you are in the EEA, UK or similar regions, you have the right to:
access your data, correct it, have it erased, and restrict or object to its use
data portability
withdraw your consent at any time
complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you have the right to:
know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell or share
delete it and correct it
limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only to provide the service you asked for)
opt out of sale or sharing (we do neither)
not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
How to use your rights:
Most of your data is on your phone, so you can view, correct and delete it yourself in the App (see section 7).
For anything else, email dev@everoneai.cn with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm who you are. We will reply within 15 business days.
Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with your written permission.
Since we do not keep your sleep-recording data, we may only be able to tell you that we hold no such data about you.
10. Categories of information (California notice)
In the last 12 months:
| Category | Collected by us? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers (name, account ID, email, device ID) | Only your email if you contact us | No account system |
| Commercial information (subscriptions) | No. Subscription status is read on your device only | Payment is handled by Apple |
| Audio information | No. Audio is analyzed on your phone in real time and is never saved or uploaded | See 3.1 |
| Sensitive personal information (health-related data) | Not received by us. Used on your device only, with your consent | Apple Health data and sound-event features |
| Internet activity, location, other categories | None. The first version has no analytics or network-request code (re-checked before release) |
We do not sell or share personal information, including that of consumers under 16.
11. Children
The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 16 has sent us information, email dev@everoneai.cn and we will delete it.
12. Security
Data stays on your device and is protected by your phone's security features, such as passcode and device encryption. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will tell you in the App before they apply. Where required, we will ask for your consent again.
